Home Winemakers, Jelly and Juice lovers: the harvest has begun.
If you would like to pick your own grapes, Flint Ridge Vineyard is offering you the opportunity to join us at harvest.
Due to the massive amount of work that we have during the harvest, we are unable to accomodate regular visitors. Our tasting room is closed to the public until October. It is possible to visit the winery by participating in the harvest.

We have cheese plates available on most Saturdays or you are welcome to bring a picnic basket of food. Pizzas are available only on special dates because of the time involved in preparing the handmade crust and in firing the oven.

WINEMAKER'S PHILOSOPHY AT FLINT RIDGE VINEYARD WINERY
Our wines have a sense of place. They express our 'terroir'. Terroir is the French concept that sun, soil, and the soul of the winemaker combine to become expressed in a wine which can "only" be described, after one has savored it, as coming from the Flint Ridge in Southeastern Ohio. As you'll read herein, our goal is to grow the highest quality fruit we, our sun, soil and soul, can eke out of the flint bearing clays and glacial spoil mounds of our farm. Our wines are an expression of our place. Like we aspire to be, our wines are intended to be subtle, straightforward, and revealing some more of themselves to he who engages them over time. If one of our wines is sweet, the sweetness will not overpower the grape.
